In May 2026, the Mazuwo Wireless team visited a family in Maungani whose home was tragically destroyed by a fire in 2025. Faced with the difficult task of rebuilding their lives, the family had been staying in temporary accommodation while recovering from the devastating loss.
As part of our ongoing commitment to community upliftment, our team volunteered their time and resources to repaint the house currently sheltering the family, creating a more comfortable and welcoming environment. In addition, warm blankets were donated to help them endure the cold winter months.
For Mazuwo Wireless, initiatives such as these form part of our broader mission to empower and support the communities that have embraced us since our establishment. We understand that access to technology and connectivity is only one aspect of community development. Equally important is the responsibility to stand alongside our neighbours during times of hardship.
